Manythink designed and executed a comprehensive exhibition stand for DG DEFIS at Le Bourget, creating a dynamic multi-functional space that seamlessly integrated technology, networking, and interactive experiences.

The stand was conceived as a sophisticated exhibition environment featuring four distinct zones, each serving specific purposes while maintaining visual and functional cohesion. At the heart of the design was a private meeting area housed under an architectural dome, providing an intimate space for confidential discussions and high-level meetings.

The technology showcase area featured a dedicated VR space where visitors could experience immersive project presentations. This zone allowed DG DEFIS to demonstrate complex concepts and future visions through cutting-edge virtual reality experiences, engaging audiences in ways traditional presentations could not achieve.

A versatile photobooth and LED zone served multiple functions throughout the event. This adaptable space transformed from a branded photo opportunity area to a presentation stage and reception zone as needed, demonstrating the flexibility built into the design. The 5 square meter LED screen served as a dramatic backdrop, creating visual impact while communicating key messages.

The startup showcase area provided emerging companies with a professional platform to present their innovations. DG DEFIS invited several startups to exhibit their projects, with each startup allocated dedicated screen space on a truss system featuring three displays. This zone fostered innovation and collaboration, creating opportunities for networking between established industry players and emerging talent.

Six interactive touch screen kiosks were strategically positioned throughout the stand, allowing visitors to explore projects at their own pace. These self-service stations reduced pressure on staff while ensuring all visitors could access detailed project information regardless of crowd levels.

The stand design incorporated a reserved room at its core, with each specialized space radiating outward in a logical flow. This layout encouraged natural visitor movement while preventing congestion in any single area. The architectural approach balanced openness with defined boundaries, creating distinct experiences within a unified design language.

VIP hosting capabilities were integrated throughout, with particular attention to the reception area named after André Breton. This space provided an elevated experience for distinguished guests, featuring premium finishes and dedicated service areas that reflected the importance of high-level stakeholder engagement.

Technical infrastructure supported the ambitious design, with careful cable management, power distribution, and data connectivity ensuring all digital elements functioned seamlessly. The modular construction allowed for efficient setup and breakdown while maintaining structural integrity throughout the event.

The result was a stand that effectively communicated DG DEFIS's commitment to innovation while providing practical spaces for business development, stakeholder engagement, and public outreach. The design successfully balanced competing demands for privacy, accessibility, and visual impact, creating an environment that served multiple audiences and objectives simultaneously.
